Trike

See this trike at MREA Custer WI June 19th to June 21st.

This is a all electric Reverse Trike that is powered by a 48 volts series wound DC motor that came out of an electric fork lift. 4 12 Volts batteries power this trike. A Curtis controller is used to controll the voltage.

Most parts are recyled. Frame is from a honda 750 which I bought for $50, 2 batteries are from Tom & Debbie/Demitree. Welding was done professionally by a welder. Wireing was done by Swee & Trevor. Controller was setup by Swee, Ben & Marshall. DC motor & cables was donated by Leslie. Curtis controller was donated by Tom. Thanks everyone for donating parts & expertise.
Swee

This electric trike has a range of 20 miles, max speed of 30 mph. Mileage equivalent is 200 mpg if gasoline is $4/gallon.
There is zero emissions & is totally silent except for the wind blowing in your face.

There is 2 wheels in front, 1 in the rear.

Had to show my wife that it runs. 8/30/2008
